Terms of Use for PipePulse
By using PipePulse you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. An Independent App
PipePulse is an independent software application operated by Iron Apps. PipePulse is not made, endorsed or supported by Moen. It uses Moen's service on your behalf, with your own Moen account. Moen can change or stop that service at any time, which may stop parts of PipePulse from working. You remain bound by Moen's own terms.
2. Your Account
You are responsible for your Moen login and for what is done with it in the app. Only add accounts you are allowed to use.
3. Not a Safety System
PipePulse shows information and can turn your water off or on through your Moen device. It is not a replacement for the Moen Flo app, its alerts, or a professional. Readings and alerts can be late, missing or wrong. Do not rely on PipePulse alone to protect your home, and check that a water shut-off command has worked.
4. Subscriptions
Some features need a subscription. Prices are shown before you buy. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel them in your App Store or Google Play account settings, at least 24 hours before the end of the period. Refunds follow the store's rules.
5. Acceptable Use
Do not misuse the app: do not try to break it, reverse-engineer it beyond what the law allows, overload Moen's service, or use it to access accounts that are not yours.
6. Third-Party Licenses and Open Source Software
PipePulse uses third-party code under permissive licenses (such as MIT). Copies of the relevant licenses and copyright notices are available for review within the app on the dedicated open-source licenses page.
7. No Warranty
The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damage, including water damage, or for losses caused by the app, by Moen's service, or by devices not working as expected. Our total liability is limited to what you paid for the app in the last 12 months.
9. Ending Use
You can stop using the app at any time. We may stop offering the app or a feature or may end access for anyone who breaks these terms.
10. Changes and Law
We may update these terms; the new version will be shown in the app with its date. These terms are governed by the laws of Washington (USA).
